Eagles tackle King Dunlap was arrested in Nashville Friday and charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct. Police said he drove his Cadillac Escalade onto the sidewalk outside Bridgestone Arena and refused to move when ordered to by police.

Dunlap, 25, a Nashville native, parked his SUV on the sidewalk/plaza area near the front doors of the arena, which is hosting the SEC women's basketball tournament, at 5:15 p.m. Dunlap told police he was there to pick up his father, who is confined to a wheelchair, according to a release from the Nashville Metro police department. Officers told Dunlap drivers were not permitted onto the sidewalk/plaza and directed him to another area where they said he could pick up his father. Dunlap refused to move and after being given a final warning was arrested, according to police.

He was cooperative after he was placed into custody, police said.

Dunlap's bond was set at $1,000. His agent could not immediately be reached for comment.
