Niki & the Dove and Charli XCX at Making Time
This month's Making Time is at Voyeur on Friday night, and Dave Pianka has assembled a loaded lineup of on-the-cusp critic's darlings. Brit pop singer Charli XCX plays her first ever American show on her way to SXSW, Swedish duo Niki & the Dove proffer their pagan pop in the opening slot (at the astonishingly early hour of 10 p.m.) and Brooklyn band Bear in Heaven fit it the middle. There's also the full complement of Making Time DJ's, including Dave Pak and Mike Z. Dave P. and Sammy Slice and the Rock Tits DJs.
