Cutting raw meat 'hard but fun'

At Wissahickon Charter School our students are getting more confident and competent with their knife skills.  We divided up the tasks so that some students washed and sliced peppers while others cut green beans and got the rice and quinoa cooking. All the students had the chance to try slicing raw steak into bite-sized strips. Cutting raw meat was  "hard but it was fun," according to Ray Davies. After tasting the stir-fry meal, Saneah Young declared "the cooked beef was the bomb!"
