Mushrooms transformed from unappealing to delicious

We had a wonderful time this week making the Bolognese and salad. The kids loved how all the ingredients came together. At first the mushrooms seemed unappealing to everyone, but they were pleasantly surprised how delicious they were.  Making the salad was lots of fun as everyone pitched in and we used some leftover carrots and celery and added them to our salad. The kids loved how simple and tasty the dressing was. A great time was had by all!!  What a special bunch they are.
