"I call the onions!" exclaimed Derron Coleman as we reviewed the recipe.  Our student chefs later agreed that the best part of making the soup was that everyone had a chance to show off their knife skills.  The smell of our simmering soup soon attracted many teachers to the kitchen with comments like, "This smells delicious," and "I feel like I'm back in my grandmother's kitchen."  One teacher even suggested our future chefs help cook her holiday meal!
