The 11th annual Chefs' Dinner for PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) was held last night at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philly and attracted nearly 700 guests, who enjoyed a one-of-a-kind evening of food and excitement.
Sixty of the city's best chefs created three-course meals and wine pairings table side for 12 guests each in an intimate setting elaborately decorated with balloons and gorgeous flowers.
Seafood seemed to be the popular dish, with pork belly coming in at second. Following dinner, guests were ushered to a downstairs room, where they enjoyed coffee, drinks and desserts by Potito's Bakery, Palladino's, Classic Cakes, Seasons 52, and Dol Cice Gelato Company.
There was a silent auction, which included jewelry from Dana Spain's collection, with each piece valued over $1,000. The event raised $350,000 and all proceeds benefit PAWS' lifesaving efforts.
