Baseball: Gloucester Catholic beats St. Rose to win South Jersey Non-Public B title

Cody Brown pitched a complete game and Elliott McCummings, Tim Patterson and Brett Tenuto had RBI hits as Gloucester Catholic beat St. Rose, 4-2, in the Non-Public South B title game Tuesday.

Brown, a junior left-hander, allowed five singles. He struck out seven with two walks.

McCummings hit an RBI double in the second. Patterson had a two-run single and Tenuto an RBI single in the sixth.

Gloucester Catholic won its 27th sectional title. The Rams advance to face the winner of the Non-Public North B title game between Morristown-Beard and St. Mary of Rutherford in Saturday's title game.
