Phillies address attendance problem on Groupon

The Phillies were quick to address its (expected?) attendance problem this season.

Seven games into the 2015 MLB season and things haven't gone well so far for the Phillies.

On the field, the Phillies are currently 3-4 and became the eighth team since 1960 to be shut out in their first home game and first road game.

In the stands, the Phillies hosted a record-low attendance in Citizens Bank Park history for a regular-season game on Friday night against the Nationals.

Despite ignoring many of the problems on the roster for the past years, the organization was quick to address its (expected?) attendance problem.

Enter Groupon:

Just a couple of years after arguably the greatest run in franchise history, the Phillies are offering half-off tickets for three games in May.

That's $8.50! That's like the cost of a beer at the park!

So if you have any interest in seeing the Fightin' Phils battle the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates and/or the Arizona Diamondbacks, this deal is for you.

If you don't, there is always the comment section.
