The 76ers waived reserve point guard Chasson Randle on Thursday so they could complete their trade with the Dallas Mavericks.
They had clear up a spot on their 15-man roster in order to acquire Andrew Bogut and Justin Anderson. Randle averaged 5.3 points in 9.2 minutes in eight appearances. He shot 40 percent on three-pointers. The rookie said a 10-day contract with the Sixers on Jan. 10. He signed a second one of Jan. 20 before signing a multi-year deal on Jan. 30.
