Pennsylvania Ballet updated the roster on its web site, so now it's clear just how many dancers were let go or left on their own.

The company removed the photos of all the dancers who left when their 2015-16 contract ran out on June 12. But they have not yet posted photos of the dancers who will join the company.

For most of the season, Pennsylvania Ballet had 43 dancers. That included eight principal dancers, five soloists, and 23 members of the corps de ballet, plus seven apprentices.

Today, the ballet's website shows 25 dancers: five principals, four soloists, 11 corps dancers, and six apprentices.

That makes 18 dancers or 42 percent of this season's company who will not be on stage at the Academy of Music or Merriam Theater next season.

Notably gone are principal dancers Lauren Fadeley, Brooke Moore, and Francis Veyette, as well as soloist Evelyn Kocak.

Additionally, former principal dancer Arantxa Ochoa, director of the School of Pennsylvania Ballet, will be leaving this summer to join Miami City Ballet School as director of faculty and curriculum.

Dancers staying with the company include principals Amy Aldridge, Ian Hussey, Jermel Johnson, Arian Molina Soca, and Alexander Peters. Soloists Lillian DiPiazza, Oksana Maslova, and Mayara Pineiro will be promoted to principal. James Ihde will remain a soloist.
