Lucky Lab Tavern in Royersford closes

Owners did not disclose the reasons.

Lucky Lab Tavern - operated on the former site of the Sly Fox Brew House in Royersford by former manager Stacey Hebert and her husband, Bryan - pulled the plug Monday, Oct. 28 after two years.

A statement on its Facebook reads:

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the closing of the Lucky Lab Tavern. We've had two incredible years in the Royersford community. To everyone that supported our establishment we are eternally grateful for your business and your friendship through the years. Many of you have been patrons here at this location even before the Lucky Lab days; again, we very much appreciate the loyalty you have shown. While the specific reasons for us choosing to close are closely held for now, there is one thing we want to make very clear. Our staff will remain in our hearts and memories as a stellar team who pulled us through some very hard times and helped us succeed in the good times. For that we also will be forever grateful. We will pray that our chosen leaders and government find more ways to support small and local businesses as they are the backbone of America."
