November's lineup at Cook features Calmels, Elmi... and Vetri's dad?

The Rittenhouse Square culinary salon's new schedule is out.

Such names as Fork's Terence Feury, Bibou's Pierre Calmels, and Le Bec-Fin's Nicholas Elmi are on the November calendar of Cook, the Audrey Claire Taichman-owned culinary salon on 20th Street.

Each class provides a VIP cooking demo and meal for 16 people.

And so far, they've all sold out.

A few highlights for November: Feury, an avid fisherman, will teach fish at his Nov. 1 class. Gianluca Demontis of Melograno, who rocked Cook last week for a pasta class, will be back Nov. 3 to teach mushrooms. Elmi's Nov. 7 class, which I will host, will focus on hearty, contemporary comfort food. Calmel's Nov. 14 class -- his second at cook -- is themed broadfly to classic French cuisine.

A couple of offbeat ones: Marc Vetri's dad, Sal, will lead a lesson on Nov. 20 in his traditional Sunday dinner, and Georges Perrier will return Nov. 29 to make something he's only made at home: spaghetti Bolognese.
