'Delco Proper' officially picked up as web series at Comedy Central

Well, it might not be in the 30-minute TV show format we were hoping for (yet), but Delco Proper has been picked up by Comedy Central for more web episodes after July’s pilot debut.

Well, it might not be in the 30-minute TV show format we were hoping for (yet), but Delco Proper has been picked up by Comedy Central for more web episodes after July's pilot debut.

The guys behind Delco Proper — Philly's own Tim Butterly, John McKeever, and Tommy Pope — made the announcement via social media over the weekend, saying that "new episodes [are] coming soon":

"So you f---ing water heads can stop sending my private messages like we grew up together," co-creator Tommy Pope reportedly wrote on his Facebook page regarding Delco Proper's extension. "Now we drink."

Tim Butterly was a little more subdued in his announcement, clarifying that Delco Proper "has been (web) renewed":

McKeever, for his part, thanked some well-wishers:

Delco Proper, for the uninitiated, centers on three best friends from Delaware County who "struggle to avoid trouble and make a name for themselves."

No word yet on when the new episodes will hit the Web, but in the mean time, check out Delco Proper's pilot episode below:
