Valley Forge Casino Resort, King of Prussia, has named Eric Pearson as its new president and chief executive officer. Pearson most recently served as vice president of gaming and revenue enhancement at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Valley Forge Casino Resort, King of Prussia, has named Eric Pearson as its new president and chief executive officer. Pearson most recently served as vice president of gaming and revenue enhancement at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Lincoln Financial Group, Radnor, has hired Kristen Phillips as head of corporate marketing and enterprise communications. She will continue her responsibilities as senior vice president of marketing and strategy for insurance and retirement solutions.

Former federal tax prosecutor Kevin F. Sweeney has joined the Philadelphia office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka, a diversified business law firm, as senior counsel. He had been a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, where he led many of its most successful tax cases, including offshore banking cases against prominent Swiss banks BSI SA, Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) SA, and Edmond de Rothschild SA.

Hill International, a Philadelphia provider of program management, project management, construction management, construction claims, and other consulting services, has named J. Charles Levergood senior vice president in charge of business development for the Americas region of Hill's project management group. He had been with Jacobs Engineering Group as vice president of mega sales and global strategy in its global buildings and infrastructure group.

The Bryn Mawr-based water utility Aqua America Inc. has promoted Marc Lucca to president of its Pennsylvania subsidiary, Aqua Pennsylvania. He had been vice president of network. Lucca has been with Aqua Pennsylvania since 2007.

Chuck Lewis has been named executive vice president, chief growth and marketing officer at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. He had been senior vice president at Catholic Leadership Institute.

Dorothy J. Verdon has been hired as corporate communications manager by Schnabel Engineering, a geotechnical engineering firm. The former marketing director at Bruce E. Brooks & Associates will work in the company's West Chester office.

Egalet Corp., a Wayne specialty-pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing, and commercializing treatments for pain and other conditions, has appointed Patrick Shea chief commercial officer. Shea will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercialization strategy for several drugs. He had been chief operating officer at Clarus Therapeutics Inc.

Lombard International, a life insurance-based wealth solutions provider with offices in Luxembourg and Philadelphia, said it has created a Transatlantic Solutions Team composed of executives from the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The team includes John Fischer, senior managing director, Transatlantic, US; Phil Trussell, senior managing director, Bermuda; Helmer Arizmendy, senior managing director, Latin America; Danilo Santucci, senior U.S. tax counsel and wealth planner, Europe; Lee Sleight, manager, case structuring, Europe; and Freda Liu, marketing officer, Asia.

Claudia Colón García-Moliner has joined the environmental, energy, safety, land-use law, and litigation firm of Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox LLP, Bala Cynwyd as an associate. She recently completed a judicial clerkship for Judge Denise Hinds-Roach of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, Family Division, in St Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Cozen O'Connor has named René Y. Quashie a member of the health-care practice group in its Washington office. He joins the firm from Epstein Becker Green, where he was senior counsel.

Jason J. Barr has been named dean of the Salus University College of Education and Rehabilitation in Elkins Park. He had been a researcher at the IDEA Center Inc. and worked for Monmouth University as the associate dean for the School of Education.

Joy Medlock has been named general manager of Suburban Square by Kimco Realty. She will be responsible for day-to-day operations and managing major renovations currently underway. She had been general manager at JLL.

Broad Street Review, the Philadelphia-based arts and culture website, has appointed Sid Schechter part-time publisher. Schechter remains founder and owner of Silverwood Consulting. He has spent more than 35 years as a marketing strategist for corporations, TV networks, magazines, professional sports leagues, colleges, and not-for-profit organizations.

Peter Bucci has been named chief lending officer at the Spring Garden Lending Group, a recently formed business specializing in short-term loans to acquire, rehab, construct, and refinance real estate investment properties in the Philadelphia region. Bucci had been chief lending officer at Valley Green Bank. He is joined by Jay Goldstein, the cofounder and former president of Valley Green Bank, who cofounded Spring Garden Lending with other Valley Green Bank executives in September.

Fulton Financial Corp., Lancaster, has promoted Jeffrey J. Scheuren to president and chief operating officer of Fulton Mortgage Company. He will oversee all of the company'smortgage-related functions. He joined Fulton Mortgage Company in 2010 as senior vice president of secondary marketing. Prior to joining Fulton, he served as senior vice president of Secondary Marketing for Waterfield Bank.

Michael S. Moorman has been named a senior supervising construction manager in the Pittsburgh office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization. He will be responsible for leading construction management and inspection activities in Pennsylvania, including project management for various roadway and bridge construction projects. He had been regional director CDR Maguire, Inc.

 TrialScope, a Jersey City provider of clinical trial transparency and compliance solutions, has named Dan Lehman vice president of business development. Lehman, who had over sixteen years of sales and sales leadership experience, had been led sales efforts for complex customer migrations at ViewPoint Construction Software.

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC ("Janney"), a Philadelphia-based full- service wealth management, financial services and investment banking firm, has hired Tyler Hill, who joins Janney's Institutional Equity sales team in Boston, as managing director. Hill, who has 15-years of industry experience, had been a senior salesperson at Wedbush Securities.

Freda Pepper has joined Reed Smith LLP, Philadelphia, as of counsel in the firm's state tax group. Pepper was most recently deputy chief compliance officer at Keane, a consulting and compliance firm specializing in unclaimed property services.

Monument Bank, Warminster, has hired Brian Collins as vice president of commercial lending. He had been vice president, commercial lending, for the Pennsylvania division of First Bank.

FXI, a Media producer of foam products, has hired Philippe Knaub as senior vice president and chief technology officer. Knaub had been global head of research and development for emulsion polymers for Styron in Switzerland, a part of the Dow Chemical Co., which was acquired by the private equity firm Bain Capital in 2010.

Cozen O'Connor has expanded its Washington, D.C. office with the addition of public and project finance attorney Patti Grant-Wilkinson as a member. She had been a senior vice president at Jefferies LLC, a global investment banking firm. Grant-Wilkinson also is credited for founding law firm Bryant Miller Olive's (BMO) Washington, D.C. office 10 years ago amd served as managing shareholder of that office. Her hiring follows the recent hiring of Rene Quashie as a member of the Health Care Practice, who began last month.

Wilmington Trust has hired Brad Weingart as managing director and senior private-client adviser for its wealth advisory office in Philadelphia. He had been regional executive at Citizens Private Bank.

Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions LLC, a Malvern provider of real estate services to educational institutions, has promoted Dan Savoia to vice president of development, from project executive.

Kleinbard LLC, Philadelphia, has hired Julie C. Berson as an associate in the firm's business and finance department and as a member of the real estate group. She had been an associate at Dechert LLP in the finance and real estate group. - Mike Zebe
