A 23-year-old Pemberton Township man has been indicted on charges of fatally shooting another man from the township last year, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said Wednesday.

Douglas Lewis, of Fort Dix Road, was charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and related crimes. He was being held in the Burlington County jail in Mount Holly.

Lewis was accused of killing Shaquille Williams, 24, of the Browns Mills section of the township. William, who had been shot several times, was found dead inside of a vehicle in 100 block of Kinsley Road in March 2017
