What I Do

I write about arts, entertainment, and culture in Philly, covering everything from movies, TV, theater, and museums to local artists and fascinating art mysteries.

My Background

Before joining The Inquirer, I was the senior editor at Bitch: A Feminist Response to Pop Culture. For nearly a decade, I've written about arts, entertainment, politics, race, gender, and lifestyle for national and local outlets including the Washington Post, Washingtonian, and Smithsonian.

In 2021, I participated in the National Arts Critics Institute, and in 2023 I was selected to join the Periplus Collective, a mentorship community dedicated to supporting writers of color. I'm a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where I double-majored in international relations and French and minored in journalism.

Outside of work, I perform Puerto Rican folkloric music with my family in New Jersey and chill with my tuxedo cat, Mochi.
