Temple guard Kaylah Turner was named to the All-American Conference second team on Monday. Owls forward Saniyah Craig earned a spot in the American all-newcomer team in voting by the conference’s 14 head coaches.

A junior, Turner led the American in scoring at 16.1 points per game and her 40.5% shooting ranked fifth in the conference. She scored a career-high 36 points against Princeton on Dec. 22. Turner joined Temple in 2024-25 after one season at Alabama A&M and was named the conference sixth player of the year last season.

Craig joined the Owls by way of Jacksonville, where she spent two seasons. The junior led Temple with 7.8 rebounds per game and averaged 10.8 points — 12.7 points during conference play.

Rice’s Victoria Flores, a junior guard, was named conference player of the year.

Temple (14-16) will open conference tournament play against Tulane (11-19) on Tuesday at 3 p.m. (ESPN+) in Birmingham, Ala.
