A man was charged with murder in the death of a fellow inmate at a state facility in Burlington County

A 23-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in the July 17 death of another inmate at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility in Burlington County, Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said Friday.
Trevor Banton, of East Orange, allegedly killed 24-year-old Yasin Sellers in the prison gym after a religious service attended by other inmates, Bradshaw said.
Correctional officers found Sellers unresponsive on the floor and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Bradshaw said.
Banton is awaiting his first court appearance in the case.
No other details about the fatal assault were released.
