La Salle University launched the public phase of a $125 million fundraising campaign on Friday night during homecoming weekend.

It’s the largest campaign in the Catholic university’s history, a university spokesperson said.

The school already has raised $64 million during the quiet phase, and the funding is for student scholarships, experiential learning opportunities and facility upgrades, the school said in a news release.

The Catholic university in Philadelphia enrolls over 4,000 students, according to its website.

“Supporting La Salle University is an investment in our students and in the future of our storied institution,” President Daniel J. Allen said in a statement.

The campaign funds also will support emergency financial aid to help students stay enrolled, professional development for faculty, a student success center and upgrades to health and wellness center, student union, labs and other areas, according to the news release.

The university raised $19.6 million during the 2026 fiscal year, a record, the school said.
