Animated film about Hank, a dog who wants to become a samurai. Featuring an eclectic cast of voices including Michael Cera (as Hank), Ricky Gervais, George Takei, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Samuel L. Jackson, and Mel Brooks. (Rated PG. Premieres July 15 in theaters.)
‘Where the Crawdads Sing’
Delia Owens’ best-selling novel comes to the screen starring Daisy Edgar-Jones (Under the Banner of Heaven). She’s Kya, who grows up an outcast in the marshes of North Carolina and later goes on trial for the murder of one of her town’s favorite sons. The feature film directorial debut of Olivia Newman. Featuring a new song by Taylor Swift. (Rated PG-13. Premieres July 15 in theaters.)
