There are not-so-good vibrations coming out of Massachusetts as Wahlburgers, the burger chain fronted by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their chef-brother, Paul Wahlberg, has closed its Philadelphia location.

Wahlburgers anchored the northern end of the Piazza, on Second Street at Germantown Avenue, since August 2016. The run-up to the opening included a branded food truck and frequent visits by Mark Wahlberg that coincided with the shooting schedule for the A&E series Wahlburgers, which wrapped a 10-season run two weeks ago.

Those craving an O.F.D. or Wahlbowl can get their fix at the Ocean Resort Casino location in Atlantic City, which remains open.

The company posted the closing on Facebook, inspiring comments that are both touching and cheeky.
