Man found dead in smoking Jeep in South Philly had been shot, stabbed
Firefighters found the body wrapped in a blanket in the rear of the Jeep.

The 43-year-old man whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in the back of a smoking Jeep in a South Philadelphia parking lot had been shot in the head and stabbed in the neck, police said Wednesday.
Investigators have not disclosed if they have established a possible motive in the slaying of Joslyn Morgan, 43, of the 5600 block of Sprague Street in East Germantown.
Firefighters called for a smoking car in the parking lot behind the closed Toys R Us building on the 2700 block of South Third Street found the body about noon Tuesday after putting out a small fire, police said.
Morgan had been shot in the forehead and suffered a stab wound to the neck, police said.
Police said a male figure with medium to heavy build and wearing a jacket with the hood up was seen leaving the scene and probably was a suspect.
