Jenkintown native Bradley Cooper joined A Star Is Born co-star Lady Gaga at her residency in Las Vegas over the weekend, where the two performed a duet of Gaga’s “Shallow,” the film’s signature song.

Gaga on Saturday invited Cooper onstage to perform the track during a run of her “Enigma” residency at Las Vegas’ Park Theater, much to fans’ surprise. The pair, after all, are both nominated for their work on A Star Is Born, as is “Shallow” itself, thanks to their duet in the film.

“So a really good friend of mine…I don’t know if you know him, but his name is Bradley,” Gaga said on Saturday. “He made that movie, A Star Is Born. So, I’m going to be a little chance-y…Yo Bradley, you want to come up and do this one?”

The performance marked the duo’s first time playing the track live. The pair will likely be tapped to perform at next month’s Oscars ceremony.

A Star Is Born is up for eight Academy Awards, thanks to nods including best picture, original song, and cinematography, among other honors.
