Two men killed in separate city shooting incidents, including one in which three were struck
Another man was fatally wounded in a separate shooting in Southwest Philadelphia.
One man was killed in a triple shooting Wednesday night in the city’s Logan section, and another man was fatally shot in an unrelated attack a short time later in Southwest Philadelphia, police said.
The first shooting happened just after 7:30 p.m. outside in the 2700 block of North Warnock Street. A 55-year-old man who was shot in the chest and left hand was taken by police to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 7:47.
A 47-year-old man who was shot in both legs was taken by private vehicle to Temple and was listed in stable condition. An unidentified man in his 20s also was shot in both legs. He was taken by private vehicle to Temple and was listed in stable condition.
Police reported no arrests or other details in that case.
Later in Southwest Philadelphia, a 22-year-old man was on the porch of a residence in the 2200 block of South 69th Street when he was shot three times in the chest and twice in the back, police said. That shooting happened just before 8:10 p.m.
Medics took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:39.
Police reported no arrests or other details in that slaying as well.
