Losing presidential candidate Mitt Romney officially let Gov. Christie off the hook today for causing him to lose to President Obama.

After Romney's loss, there was some (mostly anonymous) murmuring that Christie was at fault for hanging out with Obama in the days leading up to the election. Of course, Obama and Christie were working together to address the Sandy crisis that had hit the state. But some commentators on the right argued that Christie went too far in his figurative "embrace" of POTUS.

But don't blame Christie, says Romney.

"I'm not going to worry about how Chris was doing what he thought was best for the people of his state," Romney said in his first post-election interview on FOX News today. "I lost my election because of my campaign, not because of what anyone else did."
