Eagles-Browns report card
Here are our grades for the Eagles' win over the Browns:
RUSHING OFFENSE
Brian Westbrook's streak of 100-yard rushing performances ended at 2. He rushed for just 53 yards on 16 carries against the Browns. Grade: C
PASSING OFFENSE
With his offensive line giving him plenty of time, Donovan McNabb picked the Browns apart, completing 69.2 percent of his passes. Eagles wideouts had 18 catches and 2 TDs. Grade: A
RUN DEFENSE
Eagles held the Browns to 57 yards on 20 carries. In the last 5 games, they've held opponents to a puny 2.7 yards per carry. Grade: A-plus
PASS DEFENSE
Ken Dorsey became the third quarterback in the last 4 games to complete less than 50 percent of his passes against the Eagles. Eagles had 2 picks, including one by Asante Samuel that he returned 50 yards for a TD. Grade: A-plus
SPECIAL TEAMS
Eagles coverage units kept dangerous return man Josh Cribbs in check. KR Quintin Demps averaged 29.3 yards per return. David Akers made all 3 of his field goal attempts. Grade: A-minus
OVERALL
The defense held the Browns without an offensive TD. But that's no great accomplishment. They haven't scored an offensive TD in the last four games. Donovan McNabb had a sol id game, but the Eagles need to solve their red-zone problems, and quickly. Grade: B
