RUSHING OFFENSE
The Eagles had just five rushing first downs and LeSean McCoy's raw rushing numbers — 38 yards on 27 carries — weren't very good. But he converted four of five situations of 2 yards or less, including a pair of first-half touchdowns that helped the Eagles grab a 24-7 halftime lead.
Grade: B-minus
PASSING OFFENSE
Michael Vick's return from injury was very unremarkable. He completed just 15 of 30 passes, had four balls tipped and threw his 12th interception in 10 starts. DeSean Jackson caught his first touchdown pass since Week 5 and had his first red-zone reception since Week 1.
Grade: D
RUN DEFENSE
While the Dolphins averaged 4.2 yards per carry, they gained most of their yards in the second half when they trailed by double-digits and were facing the Eagles' two-linebacker nickel package. Reggie Bush was held to 17 yards on five carriers in the first half. Against the Eagles' nickel in the final 30 minutes, he gained 86 yards on nine carries.
Grade: B
PASS DEFENSE
The Eagles held Matt Moore and J.P. Losman to 5.34 yards per attempt and six passing first downs. The Dolphins completed nine of 12 passes on third down, but just four of them were first downs and one of those ended in a fumble. Nnamdi Asomugha gave up a first-quarter touchdown to Brandon Marshall that staked the Dolphins to a short-lived 7-0 lead.
Grade: B-plus
SPECIAL TEAMS
Punter Chas Henry averaged a season-best 46.6 yards per attempt and put four of his nine punts inside the 20, but had his first one blocked, which set up the Dolphins' only touchdown. Eagles' punt return game was an adventure. DeSean Jackson tried to return one punt from his own 2 and lateraled another one to Curtis Marsh, who fumbled.
Grade: B
OVERALL
Juan Castillo's embattled defense held a team to less than 21 points for just the fifth time this season. The only blemish was Brandon Marshall's 16-yard first-quarter TD catch over Nnamdi Asomugha. The offense rolled up 24 first-half points, then took a siesta. They had just five first downs and 57 total yards in the final 30 minutes.
