Eagles-Jets Report Card

Here are our grades from today's Eagles win. Click here to submit yours.

RUSHING OFFENSE: The Eagles' offensive line did a much better job of blocking for LeSean McCoy than they did vs. the Dolphins when he averaged just 1.4 yards per carry. McCoy notched his sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season, averaged 5.7 yards per carry and scored three more touchdowns, including a 33-yarder.

Grade: A-minus

PASSING OFFENSE: With the Jets focused on taking away the Eagles' two outside receivers, DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, Michael Vick went to tight end Brent Celek, who was targeted six times and had five receptions for a career-high 156 yards and a touchdown. Vick had just seven incompletions in 22 attempts and averaged 12.4 yards per attempt. His lone interception was an end-of-the-half desperation heave.

Grade: A-minus

RUN DEFENSE: Shonn Greene gashed the Eagles for 12- and 13-yard runs on the Jets' first possession, but managed just 48 yards on his other 16 carries. Fourteen of Greene's 18 carries went for 3 yards or less as the Eagles held an opponent to less than 110 rushing yards for the fifth time in the last six games.

Grade: A-minus

PASS DEFENSE: Mark Sanchez needs to play off his ground game to be successful, but when the Eagles grabbed an early lead, it pretty much took the ground game out of the equation. The Eagles sacked Sanchez four times, forced him into three turnovers and held him to a puny 5.8 yards per attempt.

Grade: B-plus

SPECIAL TEAMS: Bobby April's units had their fingerprints on two of the Eagles' four giveaways. Rookie Curtis Marsh let a bouncing fumble hit him, and rookie kickoff returner Dion Lewis also fumbled to set up the Jets' first touchdown. The kickoff coverage didn't do a very good job on Antonio Cromartie, who averaged 29.2 yards per return.

Grade: D

OVERALL: Juan Castillo's defense put together a second straight strong effort, forcing four turnovers, coming up big in the red zone and allowing the Jets to convert just three of 13 third-down opportunities. LeSean McCoy had another 100-yard rushing performance and Mike Vick completed 68 percent of his passes. Too little too late? Probably. But if they're going to go down, they're going to go down fighting.

Grade: B+
