Eagles add details to training camp plans

The five free public practices this summer at Lincoln Financial Field will be about a lot more than just practice.

The Eagles filled in some blanks today on the five free public practices they'll be conducting at Lincoln Financial Field as part of their 2013 training camp, the first held in Philadelphia since World War II.

*After every practice, fans 14 and under can catch a pass on the field from an Eagles alum.

*You'll get a scratch-off ticket when you enter the stadium. Certain winning numbers provide admittance to post-practice player autograph sessions.

*At 10:30 a.m., two hours before each practice, the Eagles plan music, face-painting artists, and cheerleader entertainment.

In addition, four of the dates feature special promotions:

*July 28 is alumni day, with some former Eagles signing autographs in the Headhouse Plaza starting at 10:30 a.m.

*August 5 is military appreciation day, in which active military personnel are honored on the field before practice.

*August 11 features a LeSean McCoy mini-bobblehead, given to the first 10,000 kids at practivce.

*August 17 in health and safety day, honoring police, firefighters and first responders.

Remember, though admittance is free, you do need a ticket. They are available through philadelphiaeagles.com or through Ticketmaster. Parking is free, with lots opening at 9:30 a.m. for the 12:30 practices. There is a limit of 8 tickets per customer.
