As the variations and updated editions of mock drafts continue to circulate, here is another name that we have not seen tied to the Eagles -- North Carolina defensive end Quinton Coples. That comes from version 6 of Sports Illustrated's Don Banks' mock draft released today. Coples is 6-6, 285. (Banks' colleague, Peter King, also has Coples going to the Eagles.
Writes Banks, "Though a defensive tackle like Michael Brockers or Dontari Poe are options here, the Eagles probably wouldn't pass on a prospect with rare pass-rush skills. Coples has critics when it comes to his inconsistent motor, but Eagles defensive line coach Jim Washburn doesn't take the quiet approach to those sort of issues."
