Bill Clinton wasn't the only White House figure in town for the Budweiser Made in America Festival, with President Obama's oldest daughter Malia also making her way to Philadelphia for the weekend's festivities. Her fashion choice, however, was a bit more tongue-in-cheek.

Malia, 18, donned a Harvard University hat and a T-shirt reading "Smoking Kills" to day two of the Labor Day Weekend festival. And while the shirt's message is a health-conscious one, the teen, some suggested, was reacting to being covertly filmed smoking what appeared to be a joint at Lollapalooza in Chicago last month.

The brief video sparked a scandal online, with some critics attacking the Obamas as parents, while social media overwhelmingly offered support. At the time, President Obama, meanwhile, "went into crisis mode," Radar Online writes, with an anonymous source calling the incident "the president's worst nightmare."

Either way, support for Malia appears to have continued here for her "Smoking Kills" shirt:

The eldest first daughter is currently taking a gap year following her graduation from high school. She will begin attending Harvard University in 2017.
