Chris Gocong, Montel Harris among players trying out for Eagles

Nineteen players will try out for the Eagles at this weekend's rookie mini-camp, including former Eagles linebacker Chris Gocong and Temple running back Montel Harris. They join draft picks, undrafted free agents, and practice squad players from last season. There will be 42 total players this weekend.

Gocong, 29, was a 2006 third-round pick by the Eagles who played four seasons in Philadelphia and three with the Cleveland Browns. Harris starred for Temple for one season after transferring from Boston College. Two of Harris' Temple teammates will try to make the roster, too: linebacker Marcus Green and offensive lineman Devin Tyler.

Other notable tryout players are Penn State linebacker Pete Massaro, and two players from New Hampshire, where Chip Kelly went to school. Kelly will also see wide receiver Will Murphy, whom he coached at Oregon.
