Eagles sign Clayton, cut four

The Eagles announced the signing of rookie linebacker Keenan Clayton to a four-year deal. They also released four undrafted rookies: quarterback Joey Elliott, running back Keithon Flemming, tight end Pat Simonds and fullback Chris Zardas.

Safety Marlin Jackson, who ruptured his Achilles tendon last week, was also placed on Injured Reserve. The Eagles' roster now stands at 80. With Clayton's signing, they have now signed seven of their 13 draft picks.
