Graham inactive, Boys' Jones active

ARLINGTON, TX - Brandon Graham is inactive again for the Eagles this week, making this the fifth time in the last six weeks that he won't get onto the field.

For the Cowboys, running back Felix Jones is active, but word in Dallas is that he might not play if the Giants win their early game against the Jets. If the Giants win, it would eliminate the Eagles and mean that the NFC East title comes down to next week's Cowboys-Giants game, regardless of what happens here today, so the thinking is that Dallas might rest some nicked up starters to get them ready for that game. Jones has a hamstring injury and was questionable coming into Saturday.

(The Cowboys could have a shot at a Wild Card if they win today, but it seems like the team is more focused on securing the division next week if the Giants win. A Giants loss today would keep the Eagles alive, but would also mean that the Cowboys could clinch the NFC East with a win today).

Graham, last year's number one pick, has been inactive for three weeks and dressed but didn't play in a fourth. He is recovering from microfracture knee surgery and a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered here last year and recently told reporters he expected to be shut down for the year. Shortly after he said that the Eagles dressed Graham against the Jets, but used him sparingly.

Also out today is defensive tackle Trevor Laws, leaving the Eagles with just three interior defensive linemen Saturday: Cullen Jenkins, Mike Patterson and Derek Landri. Laws has been battling a knee injury.

As the Eagles revealed yesterday, Asante Samuel is out with a hamstring injury and will be replaced in the starting line up by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Other Eagles inactives are: Cedric Thornton, Julian Vandervelde, Winston Justice and Greg Lloyd.
