Photos: Brent Celek's 5th Annual Celebrity Waiter Night at Ocean Prime

Brent Celek held his Fifth Annual Celebrity Waiter Night at Ocean Prime last night all in the name of Celek's Take Flight Foundation. The mission of the organization is to provide opportunities, support and resources along with daily support and life-changing experiences to seriously-ill and physically-challenged children and families in need throughout Greater Philadelphia.

After practice, a few of his teammates came out to mingle with guests at the M&T Bank cocktail reception. A delicious three course dinner, prepared by Sous Chef Kaitlin Lamont and Executive Chef Mitch Brumels of Ocean Prime, was served to nearly 300 guests by Celek, Brad Smith, Riley Cooper, Todd Herremans, Connor Barwin, Mark Sanchez and James Casey.

Guests paid $350 for their dinner (all tickets included tax, gratuity and valet service) and an official Eagles football. The players happily signed the balls as they went to each table to greet the guests during dinner. Later on the Eagles were off and running as they told me they had to be up for a 3 AM practice. There was also an impressive silent auction, which included items from nearly every player. A Foles jersey sold for $700 to a very big fan of his, Erin Doherty. Acme Markets was one of the sponsors of the evening and presented a check to Celek for $30,000.
