I type this blog post amidst a scene that looks straight out of the movie Twister. Papers in the press box are flying around. Rain drops are beginning to whip inside. I may have just seen a flying cow.
There's a line of showers moving through the nation's capital. The tarp is on the field. Wind gusts of up to 50 miles an hour are possible. It's still an hour before game time, so we'll see how long this thing is delayed. The storm system is pretty small, and it appears to be moving fairly quickly. But we'll see. I'm sure we'll still be watching baseball at 2 a.m.
