The mood in the clubhouse was one of acceptance: the Phillies are not going to win a title this year, and a 12-4 stinker to the Tigers underscored just how far away they are from contending. Michael Young did not rule out the possibility of waiving his no-trade clause -- the veteran third baseman seems likely to get traded to a contender. Short stop Jimmy Rollins said he would not waive his complete no-trade clause.

"There are still a couple things I would like to be number one on the lists of in this organization," Rollins said, "so until those things are done, I'm not going anywhere."
