Last month, we learned that Philadelphia is apparently America's angriest city, according to Thrillist. Now, however, it also appears we rank as one of the rudest metropolises in the United States, too.

Travel + Leisure magazine this week revealed its list of "America's Rudest Cities," which has Philly in fifth place overall. Miami, meanwhile, was ranked first, followed by Phoenix, New York City, and Los Angeles.

To determine their rankings, the travel magazine utilized data from their "America's Favorite Places" survey, which ran from October 2015 to April 2016. The survey asked that participants submit their favorite place and rate it in more than 65 categories, such as nightlife and walkability.

As a result of those rankings, Philadelphia landed fifth on the list, with Travel + Leisure writing that "it's not all hugs and tenderness in Philadelphia." However, the magazine does also note that "rudeness in cities on the list can be in the eye of the beholder."

As a result of our surliness, Philadelphia outranked seemingly less rude cities such as Boston, Detroit, and Salt Lake City, among others.

Previously, Travel + Leisure also ranked Philadelphia as having the fifth least attractive populace in the United States.
