End of the road for Mirabella Cafe?
Phone rings, website is off, and about that padlock on the door...
A padlocked door, constantly ringing phone, and newly abbreviated website are three signs that Joe Palombo's Mirabella Cafe is no longer operating in Cherry Hill's Barclay Farms Shopping Center.
Tuesday (3/6) was the final night after five years, according to two suppliers hoping to reach Palombo about their accounts.
Speaking of independent restaurants in South Jersey:
South Jersey Independent Restaurant Association, also known as SJ Hot Chefs, will do its spring restaurant week from March 18 through March 23 - four-course dinners for $35, or $25 at select locations. As a bonus this time, guests who dine at restaurant week locations can receive a $10 gift certificate after completing a restaurant comment card. Gift certificates can be redeemed at any of the participating South Jersey Restaurant Week restaurants from March 25 through April 7.
