Restaurant notes: Spaghetti Warehouse to close
Its nearly 20-year run on Spring Garden Street will end Monday.
It may not serve haute cuisine, but the Spaghetti Warehouse at 1026 Spring Garden St. has served its purpose for nearly 20 years, doling out mass quantities at cheap prices to church groups, PGW workers, and the cops at the nearby FOP headquarters. Kids clamor to sit in the trolley car.
Corporate has swept in, and the plug will be pulled after dinner service on Monday (12/13).
On-site managers said they were not told why. It employs at least 50 people.
A corporate spokeswoman could not be reached for comment.
