#PhillyFive Things to Do: Feb. 27, 2015

When you’re lonely, look here.

When you're lonely, look here.

For an award-winning film: The lives of female soldiers in Israel, from day dreamers in HR to an ambitious senior officer, are documented in the dark comedy "Zero Motivation," winner of the Best Narrative Feature award at the Tribeca Film Festival, opening today at Ritz at the Bourse (400 Ranstead St.). Take your pick between a few show times: 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:10 p.m. and 9:40 p.m.

For a tasting: Saucony Creek Brewing will bring crafts for sampling at Sarah's Place (1216 N. 29th St.) starting at 6 p.m.

For a blast from the past: Feast in Renaissance style when Drexel University students dress in time-appropriate attire to entertain diners with stories, music and jests. Attendees will gorge on a 17th century feast followed by the Chamber Singers' performance of madrigals, lute songs and more. The evening starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Court of the Main Building on-campus at Drexel University (3141 Chestnut St.).

For nostalgia: Playing the best sounds from the '90s, DJs Johnny and Mike pull out the hottest well known and not-so-well-known tunes from bands of the decade at Kung Fu Necktie (1248 N. Front St.) starting at 11 p.m.

For a late night show: Mixing comedy and talk show, Two Late with Rob and Joe returns to Philly Improv Theater (2030 Sansom St.) with guests Dr. Timaree Schmit, sexuality educator, "Fastball Pitcher" Bob Gutierrez, sports personality and members of local band Red 40 and the Last Groovement. Grab a coffee and get there by 11:55 p.m.
