If traveling the world seems too daunting a task, you won't have to leave Philadelphia to get a taste of international exploration for the Travel and Adventure Show, which is visiting the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch St.) for the first time on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22.

Here's a rundown of some of the happenings.

Plan a trip
A number of different tourism, travel and adventure agencies will have displays around the convention with information and tips on how to plan your next voyage. You'll be able to customize a one-of-a-kind vacay and even score some show-only deals. Among the exhibiting groups are Sandals & Beaches Resorts, India Tourism, Experience Sicily, Luxury Vacations UK, Aruba Tourism Agency, Celebrity Cruises and many more.

Listen up
Celebrities and travel experts will speak on topics including rail travel, bucket-list-worthy vacation spots, travel photography, and more. Don't miss Phil Keoghan, host of "The Amazing Race," speak at 2 p.m. on Saturday or Samantha Brown, Travel Channel host, discuss changes in travel due to technology at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Check out the full lineup of chit-chatters.

Sights from overseas

On the show's Global Beats Stage, dance and music companies from around the world will show off cultural sounds and movements throughout the day. With entertainment beginning at 11:30 a.m. both days, you'll be treated to Latin dancing, belly dancing, and a fusion of acoustic-Mediterranean folk.

Taste away
Not only will you be able to taste an eclectic array of flavors from top chefs, you'll be treated to the recipe to try for yourself. From tostones to Creole — it's all covered.

Real-deal fun
Get ready for a fully submergible experience. Try scuba diving with full gear and all in a sample pool. Other activities available include a rock climbing wall and Segway rides.

When can I come?
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 22.
