Residential tower planned for West Philly 'Wash N Lube' car wash site
A 17-story residential tower is being proposed for the current site of the Chestnut Wash N Lube car wash at 4125 Chestnut St. in West Philadelphia.
A developer identified as CRP Builders plans the 240-unit tower, which will also include 4,158 square feet of ground- and second-floor commercial space and 82 underground parking spots, according to plans posted Wednesday to the website of the city's Civic Design Review board.
Architect Hyon Kang of KCA Design Associates LLC, listed as the project's applicant, did not immediately respond to a phone message seeking additional details.
KCA's past projects have included townhouses, detached homes, shopping-center retail, and low-rise apartments, according to its website.
The design-review board is scheduled to consider the proposal on March 7.
