Spike Lee films Mo'ne Davis
Also: Kelly Ripa's local cake, a new studio at World Cafe and more.

MO'NE DAVIS' biggest fan? Spike Lee.
"Do the Right Thing" and "Malcolm X" director Lee was in Philly this weekend, hanging out with the Taney Dragons phenom and the rest of the team.
Why?
I hear it's because he's making a documentary about the Philly ballers who made it to the semifinals of the Little League World Series this year, capturing the hearts of our fickle town. A tipster told me that a film crew was spotted shooting at Marian Anderson Rec Center, at 18th and Fitzwater streets.
Lee and Davis have met before. He visited the laser-armed pitcher while she was at the MLB Fan Cave, giving her an autographed "Do the Right Thing" street sign and having her sign a copy of the Sports Illustrated mag of which she graced the cover.
While in town, Lee and Davis snapped an Instagram on the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, while Lee met with Philly buddies, like boxer-turned-fashion-designer Simon "One Punch" Carr, and visited the nonprofit ArtWell, an organization that brings art, poetry and music to kids in the area.
While Lee might have excellent taste in Little League talent, he is, alas, still a Yankees fan.
The Real deal
World Cafe Live celebrated its 10th anniversary last week with a little bit of bubbly. After WXPN's anniversary concert on Thursday, XPN general manager Roger LaMay toasted World Cafe Live's CEO and founder, Hal Real, and christened the new studio at Upstairs Live after him. Real is in good company. The other studios in the building are named John, Paul, Ringo, George and Dylan, as in Lennon, McCartney, Starr, Harrison and Bob, respectively.
Q102 taps Raphael

Raphael moves to Philly from Rochester, N.Y.
Cashman's big event
Nicole Cashman, queen of communications firm Cashman and Associates, and DJ/real-estate agent Nigel Richards welcomed a son, Nigel Jett Richards, on Thursday. The little one will go by Jett.
