When Nick Elmi – chef/owner of Laurel and In The Valley – was chef at Le Bec-Fin, his two stars in the bake shop were Katie Lynch, who was in charge of the breads, and Emily Riddell, the pastry sous chef.

They've moved on, opening Machine Shop Boulangerie, a for-now wholesale-only bakery at the Bok Building in South Philadelphia.

They've been holding "bake sales" in the Bok building recently as they add commercial clients such as Elixir, ReAnimator, and Menagerie.

They will take over ITV (1615 E. Passyunk Ave.) on Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On the menu will be breads, viennoiserie, and tartines, plus cold brew and hot coffee and drinks from the bar.
