Jurors this morning are expected to begin a third day of deliberations in the federal corruption trial of former State Sen. Vincent J. Fumo.

Fumo, the 65-year-old South Philadelphia Democrat, is charged with 137 counts of conspiracy, fraud, tax violations, and obstructing justice. His codefendant, Ruth Arnao, Fumo's longtime aide and the former head of Citizens' Alliance for Better Neighborhoods, is charged with 45 counts.

The trial, which started in October, was so sprawling and complex that the jury is being allowed to use the courtroom on the 17th floor of the federal courthouse to review the stacks of evidence.
