A Cedarbrook man has been charged with murder and other offenses in a Monday triple shooting that left one man dead.

Philadelphia police said 51-year-old Bartholomew Nelson was arrested in the shooting death of Leotis Martin.

Martin, 51, was shot in the chest in a one-car garage that had been turned into a television room on the 8300 block of Gilbert Street just after midnight Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Martin and Nelson had gotten into an argument prior to the shooting, police said. It wasn't known what that disagreement was about.

Two other men, a 58-year-old and a 52-year-old, were also wounded by the gunfire.

Nelson is facing charges that include murder and firearms offenses.
