DRPA workers get free rides - but will they last?
Free bridge trips and train rides could be coming back for Delaware River Port Authority workers, both for daily commuting and for personal use 100 times a year.

Free bridge trips and train rides could be coming back for Delaware River Port Authority workers, both for daily commuting and for personal use 100 times a year.
The DRPA board voted Wednesday to rescind a recent ban on the free rides.
But Gov. Christie may veto the board's action, which would prevent the return of the free rides.
"I think I can guarantee you that the governor is going to be very unhappy about this. These actions are contrary to his vision for the DRPA's future," said Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak.
The board also voted to keep DRPA chief executive officer John Matheussen, rejecting a proposal to dismiss him on a 12-2 vote. Only Philadelphia labor leader John "Doc" Dougherty, who made the motion, and the representative for Pennsylvania state treasurer Rob McCord, voted against Matheussen.
