A water main break spewed water into the sky in Southwest Philadelphia this morning, turning a street corner into a geyser for about 90 minutes.
Water Department workers shut off flow to the break just befor 7 a.m., but with temperatures in the low 20s, streets and wires were coated in ice.

Helicopter TV news footage showed a geyser at the corner with water shooting higher than utility poles and roof tops.
Officials requested salt trucks to deal with icy conditions on roadways.
