Nicholas Wilson, a professional wrestler, has been sentenced to five years in a New Jersey state prison for stealing about $3,100 from a PNC Bank in Collingswood in December.
The former Camden resident was identified as a suspect after wrestling fans recognized him from bank surveillance photos. He turned himself in and pleaded guilty this year.
Camden County prosecutors say Wilson, 30, handed a teller a note saying he would shoot her if she did not give him money. The teller was so traumatized that she soon quit her job, and Wilson was ordered to pay her $150 compensation as part of the sentence imposed Friday.
